Little Friends II, Baltimore

About: Little Friends is a full-service child care center, for children 6 weeks to 4 years old, which is licensed by the State of Maryland and the Maryland State Department of Education. Located on the beautiful campus of Friends School of Baltimore, our facility sits off of North Charles Street with an entrance separate from that of the school for ease and convenience of drop-off and pick-up for our families. Care and Learning: Quaker values are at the center of our work. We focus on building self-esteem, socialization skills and serving others through frequent community service projects. We teach children to stop and think about their actions and how they affect others. We are a center-based classroom environment and we encourage fine and gross motor skills by offering plenty of indoor and outdoor opportunities. We have the pleasure of using the Friends School of Baltimore campus amenities, such as the Lower School Library, the Gymnasium and the fields. We also partner with other divisions of the School to enrich the children’s experience. Our building and classroom was consciously designed with child-friendly simplicity. From the natural wood furniture to the warm, inviting colors we aim to stimulate our children from within--encouraging creative play and challenging them with age-appropriate queries. Come and Take a Look: We welcome scheduled visitors Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. or between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.. We provide year-round care for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old, from 7:00am - 6:00pm.
