Our facility is a Family Home Childcare for children up to 5 years old (toddlers 2-5 years old). We have been in service for 23 years at the same location near NIH and Walter Reed Hospital (between Old Georgetown Rd & Rockville Pike). Our facility is on the yard level with plenty of sunlight and has a spacious playground in the fenced backyard.
I am Licensed for up to eight children by the State of Maryland Childcare Administration. I have one full-time certified assistant and two certified part-time assistants that work with me. I was an honor graduate in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and was the lead teacher for four years at Easter Seals Childcare Center at the National Archives (NARA), in College Park, Maryland.
My program is a comprehensive approach that addresses the developmental needs of children through their early growing years. I conduct daily circle time, work with children on language and number skills, and we do lots of daily arts and crafts. My program, also, includes plenty of creative and interactive playtime activities for children. Details are provided upon visit. I have numerous letters of recommendation from parents. Hours of operation are 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM -- Monday thru Friday.

Ms. Shohreh took care of our daughter for about 3 years. She has been a wonderful and most caring teacher anyone can ask for. My husband and I highly recommend her for all families. Our daughter has learned so much and now she is ready for Kindergarten. Thank you so very much Ms. Shohreh. Our daughter already misses you a great deal.

Shohreh cared for our first daughter for 3 years. Finding a childcare provider was very stressful but we were immediately at ease when we met Shohreh. She cares for these children as if they were her own. Unlike other facilities, Shohreh is flexible to your needs. i highly recommend you send your child to Shohreh’s.

Miss Shohreh provides loving and nurturing care for her students. She is positive and encouraging. My three-year old loves going to school.

We're a military family, and one of the hardest things about moving frequently is finding quality childcare at each new location. We absolutely lucked out with Shohreh and Anna Maria. There are not two more wonderful people in the world than Shorheh and Anna Maria! It would be impossible to find a daycare better Shohreh's. I have one child currently with Shohreh, and one older child who 'graduated' from Shohreh's. Not only does Shohreh (along with our beloved Anamaria) create an amazingly loving environment, but she does a perfect job preparing children for the academics of kindergarten. I will never be able to thank Shohreh enough for providing such a wonderful setting for my young kids.
