Greenwich Park Kids Playhouse is a licensed home-based daycare and preschool in Bethesda, MD. I run a bilingual Spanish-English child care program, and my home is in the Edgewood neighborhood of Bethesda, near Greenwich Park. Your daily commute will be very convenient since my home is just right off Old Georgetown Rd (route 187) and 2 minutes’ away from Bradley Blvd (route 191 and Wisconsin Ave (route 355). As an experienced child care provider and as a mom to 4 grown-up kids, I know the struggle of each parent when it comes to finding the right daycare for their little precious ones, and it’s even more challenging for single parents and first-time parents. At my daycare, I provide safe and high-quality care, treat every child as if my own, and make sure they feel loved at all times. I’m a licensed caregiver with 12 years of experience and CPR and first-aid certifications. I worked in different licensed child care centers for 5 years before I decided to open my own program. I’m also bilingual; I speak English and Spanish fluently and I teach my little students both languages.

Greenwich Park Kids Playhouse uses the Mother Goose Time and an age-appropriate curriculum that fosters learning through a play-based approach, various activities, independence, and socialization. We also offer a STEAM curriculum so children can start learning imporant elements of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and the Arts. I also offer extra-curricular activities, such as reading, arts & crafts, music, gymnastics, cooking, and I will also have sewing activities. I have lots of age-appropriate learning materials, puzzles, art supplies, books, and much more. Our child care and preschool program is home-based, but feels like a classroom and offers a great learning environment for children. We have arts and crafts stations, dress up stations, etc. My daycare has a backyard and the community playground is just right beside my house and if the weather permits, I bring the kids there to play and enjoy their outdoor time.

My family child care and preschool program is open all year from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays. I offer full-time and part-time care for newborn babies, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. I provide organic breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all kids in my care and these are all included in the tuition. I also accommodate school-age kids up to 12 years old and can offer before and after school care (my home is close to Bradley Hills Elementary School). In the summer, I have a fun summer camp program. My daycare is a peanut and tree-nut free environment to avoid any possible allergies.
