The Early Learner Private Preschool

Engaging young minds with creative, educational and physical activities; I’m an educator with 24 years of experience and strong commitment to my work. I am a Texas Education Agency certified teacher with certification in Early Childhood Education, Special Education and Bilingual Education. I am also certified in pediatric first aid and CPR. Working with children is my passion. I am dedicated to helping your child reach their potential. I have started a preschool day home that caters to children ages 3 - 5 years. We are a school readiness program that is child centered. Located in the Buda / Kyle, Texas area. We are new and offer a small group environment offering more personalized attention to your child. There is a balance of student directed and teacher directed activities. Our schedule will be routine oriented so that children know exactly what to expect and can anticipate what’s to come. Children are in a safe and predictable environment that provides emotional security for young children allowing them to transition between activities more easily. Mixed age classroom encourages leadership skills, mentoring and respect for others varied abilities. As younger students rise in age, their role in the classroom changes as they become the “older” group and comfortably display leadership qualities. Enhanced learning allows children to assess and reflect on their own progress in intervals. With teacher facilitation by guided questioning, students are able to reason and question their actions and learning, thus building metacognition. Having a positive preschool experience that is fun, engaging, with hands on experiences that are purposeful will help to develop skills in key competency areas such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, resourcefulness and creativity. A quality preschool program such as the one I am offering lays the foundation for future academic, physical and social and emotional success. In addition, we offer an intimate school setting. No rotating teachers, no combining groups to minimize staff and maximize group size and no overexposure to germs due to switching rooms or shared playground. You will receive information about your child's day from the person that was actually with him/her and can provide essential details. Your child will thrive in this day home school community. Your child will be academically school ready and more socially and emotionally prepared for life. We offer full time services from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.
