Early Advantage Preschool in Burke, VA offers a hands on program of science, language arts including reading, math concepts, and social studies and art. Children will experience a fantasy trip to England and Africa, participate in a fossil dig, become the curators of their own heritage museum and romp through the woods to discover the wonderful treasures our planet offers. We have monthly field trips and present several musical programs throughout the year. Parents are welcome to join our starship to Africa or hunt for that allusive leprechaun. The school provides an individualized fun environment where children develop a desire to learn. Classes are 4 days a week, 4 hours a day with extended day options. I have had two kids go through Mrs. Hathaway's program. Both kids were reading at least sight words before they entered kindergarten. Also, because she prioritizes problem solving, I lose to both of them in strategy games to this day! :)

All three of my children have gone, or are about to go, to Early Advantage! Mrs. Hathaway is warm and caring, teaches the children with passion, and has them ready for Kindergarten! We have loved it there, and are so fortunate to have sent all of our boys to her!

Early Advantage has been a wonderful preschool for both of my daughters. Ann is amazing with the children and we have been incredibly blessed to have our children in her class.

Preschool that has a wonderful curriculum that benefits each child immensely. Ann has a gift and a passion for teaching that rubs off on her students. I highly recommend the school, you wont regret it!

Mrs Hathaway is a fun, energetic, caring teacher. She is very hands-on. Malcolm loved it there for 2yrs. He was beyond ready for kindergarten!! Now that I have a newborn, I PRAY that I can bring her to Mrs Hathaway in a few years.
