Welcome to Greenfield Farm Kids Playhouse, my family child care program in Burke, VA! I am a professional caregiver with over a decade of professional experience. Before moving to Burke and opening my licensed facility, I operated a small home daycare for 10 years in Arlington, VA. I also served as an assistant teacher for Bright Horizons for 7 years. I am a mother of 2 children (who are now in school) and I bring not only experience, but also a passion for early childhood education. Interacting with children is my true calling, as I am always inspired by children’s genuine nature. As a mother, this home-based daycare is not only my profession but also a way to provide for my own children while doing what I love.

Conveniently located in the Greenfield Farm neighborhood of Burke (right off Burke Rd, near Guinea Rd and Burke Lake Rd), my facility offers easy access to Braddock Rd (route 620), making your commute hassle-free. My daycare utilizes an entire level of our townhouse, dedicated to creating an enriching and safe space for children. My home has a private playground to enjoy the outdoors, and I’m also within walking distance of Monticello Playground for extra fun!

As a mother myself, I understand the demands of working parents, which is why I offer flexible child care programs, including full-time and part-time care. Hours are from 7:30 am to 5 pm, for infants as young as 4 weeks old as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. For school-agers, I can provide before and after-school care for children up to 12 years old.

At Greenfield Farm Kids Playhouse, your child's well-being is very important. I know that many daycares offer meals but here, I provide nutritious, organic meals and snacks. Those are already included in the tuition. My daycare is a peanut-free and tree-nut free environment, ensuring the safety of all children under our care.

I believe in a balanced approach to learning, so I combine play-based philosophy with structured academic activities. My curriculum includes engaging reading and writing exercises tailored to each child's developmental stage. I have a schedule of daily activities, to make sure that I keep my little students entertained, while ensuring that they learn and grow. Thank you for reading my profile!
