About Me:
Hi parents, welcome to Heritage Square Playhouse, my intimate and home daycare and preschool in Fairfax, VA. I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 8 years of experience. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and I’m CPR & First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained (If needed, I can administer medication to all children attending my program). I run a small daycare program (I will only take a maximum of 4 children), therefore, you can be sure that your little one will receive plenty of individual attention!
Curriculum:
My program is a bilingual Spanish daycare and preschool (I have books and early learning materials in Spanish). I follow the a creative and research-based curriculum that integrates multiple learning areas to make learning fun and meaningful. My curriculum is also tailored to each child’s unique needs and addresses development in eight learning domains: Language Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Creative Arts, Social/Emotional Development, Approaches to Learning, Physical Health, and Development. Children are encouraged to participate in activities such as Arts & Crafts, Music, Story Time, Writing, Dance and Yoga.
Program:
My daycare and preschool program is open year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Upon request, I can also offer evening care from 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm (please email to inquire about evening daycare rates).
I provide full-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 2 months and 10 years old, including children with special needs (I have experience working with a child with autism). I’m also part of the USDA Food Program and I serve lunch and snacks to all children in my care (all meals already included in the tuition).

Abilkaiyr loves his caregiver! Today he asked me to go back to Daycare and that he wanted to see her. It is so cute and amazing to have a teacher like her! We will be back to her daycare soon). She is responsible, attentive, friendly, and kind. Her lessons are amazing! My child is only three old, but he can count to 20 and knows colors. Thank you!

All 3 of my daughters have attended this daycare. Her attention to each child is great! She speaks Spanish/English. No matter there age she gets them involved in alot of activities. Her daycare is very clean as well, she makes sure to follow all covid safety guidelines. We absolutely love this caregiver. She is incredibly caring, attentive, accommodating, and really tries to help us teach our daughter things. Her space is very clean and orderly. We've been with this caregiver since our daughter was three months old, and would recommend her to anyone!

This child care is a wonderful place. My son has learned a lot during the 3 years he has been attending. He specially enjoys playing with the other kids, making crafts every day, reading, etc. He also enjoyed the different little experiments he did, like the time they looked at the process of how a plant grows. My husband and I are so thankful that we found this provider! Our baby girl started with her at 3 months old and she absolutely loves going to daycare everyday! My daughter Alanna went to this daycare when she was 4 months old and stayed there until she was almost 1. This provider has years of experience, is very friendly, and cares for all the children in her daycare as if they were her own. She even gave me suggestions for Alanna, as I am a new parent and was also new to daycare. The only reason Alanna isn't still there is because we had to move. This is an exceptional childcare provider. She cared for my son for over three years and taught him so well. I still have not found a better provider than this provider.
