Tegest Chanyalew Mama's Family Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Burtonsville, MD. Our family child care program is run by Tegest Chanyalew who has 5 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:30am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 5 years old. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. My daughter has been well taken care of in the 5 months she has attended. She gets plenty of outdoor activity and interacts with kids of all ages, which helps her learn. The owner and her assistant are wonderful and show so much love for my daughter. The home daycare is clean and safe, and my husband and I are very satisfied that our daughter is in capable hands.

We have been blessed to find an awesome daycare provider, who has provided us with peace of mind and has loved our child like he is her own. She goes above and beyond to make sure that our son is taken care of daily. She is quick to communicate throughout the day by sending pictures of what our son is doing while Mom and Dad are at work. Our daughter was at daycare here from 3.5 months - 4 years old. She grew and learned so much. The provider is so loving and attentive to her and all the children. She engages them with fun and educational activities and our daughter loved it there. We were so happy to find such a warm and caring environment. We highly recommend this daycare!

We cannot say enough good things about this provider! With our first daughter, we had what turned into a terrible situation with a nanny. We were very hesitant to try something new with our second child. We have been overwhelmed by the wonderful care that she has received! She loves our baby as if she were her own! this woman is a true blessing!!!

We were a little apprehensive/anxious due to a bad experience with our previous provider, but after seeing the interaction between the provider and our son during the initial visit- we knew it was the right place for him. We have yet to be disappointed ever since.

This play house was such a great place for our daughter. As new parents we didnt know what daycares offered and were a bit nervous but it did not take long for us to feel comfortable to leave our daughter in the daycare. I cannot begin to express how much of a God send this provider is!!! I absolutely love how warm and approachable and loving she is with the children.
