Welcome to Patty Cake Daycare in Capitol Heights! Our home daycare is here to prepare our children to enter the school system. We prepare the children by helping them learn and socialize.
Our little students will have story time every morning, followed by learning ABC's, numbers, and learning to read. We do Arts and Crafts, puzzle time, and music time, where the staff likes to participate with singing, dancing and musical instruments! We also do field trips and have nature walks.
I strive to create a nurturing, comfortable and safe environment for my children. When parent's leave their little one's with me, I want them to feel assured that their children are in good hands, and are in an environment that feels like home!
If you'd like to visit our child care and preschool program, please note that morning tour times are most convenient. If you can't making it during the earlier times, I will try to accommodate you and meet with you in the evening. We look forward to meeting you!

My daughter attended Pattycake daycare from 3-5 years old. Ms Camia is a great teacher. She really loves the kids attending the daycare. My daughter learned so much in the years she attended. My daughter is now in Kindergarten and she really misses being in Ms. Camia’s care, she always ask to go back to visit. My son has only been going to this daycare for about a month now. Ms Camia is great, she is warm and inviting. My son has some difficulty with warming up to people, and I can tell he is beginning to feel very comfortable with her. His vocabulary has grown, and almost everyday, he has a new song to sing that he’s learned. I definitely recommend this provider!

We loved the care our kiddo received here as an infant. Provider is kind and warm - she clearly enjoys working with kids. She offered clear information to parents about how kids spent their days. The center itself was always clean and inviting. There were indoor and outdoor materials appropriate for a variety of ages. We had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone in the area. :)

Pattycake Daycare has a friendly and kind atmosphere. Any child would truly thrive here. Ms. Camia is warm and welcoming while also patient and attentive to each child. This daycare participates in van pickup/dropoff from the local school which has become a great benefit for my family. My son attends for aftercare and he loves it. The environment is clean and safe. We couldn't be more pleased.

They are great, loving, and experienced providers. They cared for my son since he was 8wks old, who's now 3yrs old and doing very well in school.

This provider has cared for my daughter for 7 years, she shows my daughter compassion, and teaches her mannerism, etiquette, and learning phonics. She is a wonderful person and a dedicated provider.
