Aquin Early Childhood Center & Preschool, Cascade

Aquin Little Angels Early Childhood Center started in Cascade, Iowa, in the year 2000. Though the community had several in-home childcare options for young families at the time, there was a need for a daycare center that could provide daily care in a convenient location at the hours working families needed most. Thanks to the generosity of our families, committee members, donors and contractors, the new center opened in April 2016. Now able to house programs for ages 6 weeks-12 years old in one building, the early childhood center can carry through with its mission to provide loving, age-appropriate childcare and education for children and families in Cascade and the surrounding communities. Through our philosophy we strive to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum. We help each child to develop feelings of self worth, respect and love for others. We work to build a cooperative and supportive teaching partnership between family and school and provide young children with a flexible environment that offers security of definite limits while providing freedom to explore.
