Welcome to Bryarton Kids Playhouse, our cozy in-home daycare in the family-friendly Bryarton subdivision in Centreville, VA. Located just off Stone Road, our licensed child care and preschool program offers convenient access to Lee Hwy (US 29), the I-66, and Braddock Road (SR 620), making drop-off and pick-up easier for busy families.

We are also just a few minutes from London Towne Elementary School, which adds even more convenience for families managing daily routines, school schedules, and commutes in the Centreville area.

Program:

Bryarton Kids Playhouse is open year-round, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We provide child care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschool-age children up to 5 years old, giving families a warm and consistent home daycare option in Centreville, VA.

Daily meals are included in tuition and are prepared and stored in a peanut- and tree nut-free kitchen to help support the safety of the children in our care. Our program is designed to give young children a nurturing environment where they can learn, play, and feel at home.

About Me:

Hello, parents! 😊 I am the owner and main caregiver of Bryarton Kids Playhouse. I bring more than 14 years of hands-on child care experience, including time at KinderCare and other child care centers. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Economics, and I am certified in CPR and First Aid.

My journey in child care began even before my first child was born. After working in different child care settings, I realized I wanted to create something more personal than a traditional daycare environment. I wanted to offer a home-like space where children could feel comfortable, supported, and truly cared for each day.

Opening Bryarton Kids Playhouse allowed me to turn that vision into reality. Here, I combine my professional experience with a nurturing, family-centered approach that supports each child’s emotional and developmental growth. I especially value watching children learn, build confidence, and develop their own personalities during these important early years.

Building strong relationships with families matters just as much to me. When parents and caregivers work together, children benefit from a stronger support system, and that partnership helps them thrive. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and enriching child care environment where families feel confident their little ones are in caring and capable hands.

Daily Routine:

Our day at Bryarton Kids Playhouse begins with a calm and welcoming arrival, giving children time to settle in and transition smoothly from home to daycare. We then move into circle time, where songs, greetings, storytelling, and simple group conversations help set a positive tone for the day.

Throughout the morning, children enjoy a mix of play-based learning activities that support early cognitive development, along with arts and crafts that encourage creativity and imagination. Music and movement are also part of the routine, giving children opportunities to build coordination and enjoy active, expressive learning before lunch and rest time.

In the afternoon, weather permitting, children enjoy outdoor free play where they can run, explore, and interact with friends. Later in the day, we include themed learning activities such as basic counting, colors, and simple science experiments to make learning fun, hands-on, and engaging.

As the day winds down, children come together to reflect on their favorite moments and share what they learned. This helps strengthen communication skills and build confidence. We end the day with a calming goodbye song, creating a comforting and consistent close to a routine that blends structure, creativity, and play.
