Crofton Commons Playhouse, Centreville

Crofton Commons Playhouse is an intimate child care and preschool program in Centreville, VA. Our daycare is located in the Crofton Commons neighborhood, right off Ordway Rd (route 658) and Centreville Rd (route 28). We’re also a few minutes’ drive away from Machen Rd and the I-66, so your daily commute to work will be very convenient.

I’m the owner of this home-based daycare and preschool and I run my program with my assistant. We have 16 years of combined child care experience and like you, we're also parents, so we know how challenging it is to find the right place for your little one. At our daycare, we provide plenty of individualized attention since we only enroll a maximum of 4 children. Our goal is to help families around the area by providing high-quality care and early childhood education at an affordable rate. We enjoy working with kids and we want our daycare to be an extension of your family :) We speak Arabic in addition to English and if you want, we can teach your child this foreign language. Our daycare is not a bilingual program, but this is a wonderful opportunity for your little one to become bilingual at a young age.

We are very flexible and work hand in hand with parents to know the schedule that works best for them. We also send them messages and photos to update them on their child's activities. Our curriculum includes circle time, teaching kids colors and ABCs, and doing craft projects. We also have daily activities such as coloring and drawing. We invested in our facility to make it more inviting and stimulating for the children. We have colorful carpets, educational charts posted on the walls, and age-appropriate toys and learning materials. When the weather permits, we also take the children outdoors to our newly built deck, providing them with the opportunity to enjoy their outdoor playtime.

Crofton Commons Playhouse is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children between the age of 3 months and 12 years old. Lunch and snacks are already included in the tuition and provided to all kids attending our program. To prevent any possible allergies, we run a peanut and tree-nut free environment.
