Welcome to Green Trails Playhouse in Centreville, my intimate home-based daycare and preschool. My child care facility is located in the Green Trails neighborhood of Centreville, VA (near Centreville Elementary School). Your commute to work will be convenient since I have easy access to Centreville Rd (route 28), New Braddock Rd, Compton Rd (route 658), and Union Mill Rd (route 659). I’m the owner and main caregiver, and I have 9 years of experience in child care and early childhood education. I’m CPR & First-aid certified and I hold a Master’s Degree in Child Psychology. I run my daycare with my assistant who has a decade of professional experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. We’re both parents and teachers by profession, which is a great combination to help nurture your child and understand your child care needs and concerns. I only accept a maximum of 4 children and I decided to run a small daycare program to ensure each child receives plenty of individualized attention.

My program follows the Play based learning, allowing children to learn through play, with a combination of academic learning and daily activities such as reading and writing. In addition to English, I can teach them Hindi and Nepali upon your request (however, my daycare is not a bilingual program). Green Trails Playhouse is open all year from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time and part-time care for children between the age of 2 months and 11 years old. All kids attending my program are provided with lunch and snacks, both included in the tuition! I also maintain a peanut and tree-nut free facility to prevent possible allergies.
