Welcome to Nesting Square Kids Playhouse, our warm and nurturing licensed daycare in South Riding, VA. We're located right off Nesting Square, near Tall Cedar Pkwy and the Dulles South Recreation Community Center, between Stone Ridge and Chantilly, VA.
About Us
Hi, parents! I'm the owner and main caregiver at our intimate, in-home daycare. As a mom of two and with 17 years of experience in child care, I understand the importance of creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for children. I started my daycare in 2012, but my journey began in 2007 when I started to work as a nanny. I hold safety certifications in CPR and First Aid, ensuring your child's well-being at all times.
I love working with kids, and kids love me too! My energy and active nature keep me engaged with the children throughout the day. I'm committed to continuous learning and regularly attend training to stay updated on the latest child care techniques. Working with a diverse population of children has given me a deep appreciation and understanding of different cultures, which I incorporate into our daily activities.
Our Program
Our child care facility is open year-round from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer full-time and part-time care as well as a structured preschool program tailored for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers aged 3 months to 3 years old. Our goal is to provide a seamless transition from home to our daycare, offering a warm, home-like environment while ensuring your child receives a quality early education experience.
Curriculum & Activities
Our curriculum is designed to foster a love for learning through play and exploration. Daily activities include reading sessions, outdoor playtime, dancing, writing, and letter tracing. We celebrate special occasions like Christmas, Halloween, or Easter Egg Hunts with fun events and crafts, making every day exciting and memorable for the children.
One of the highlights of our year is the annual Christmas party, where we invite parents and siblings to join in the festivities. We believe in creating a strong sense of community and family within our daycare, making it a special place for everyone involved.
Facilities & Meals
Our daycare is equipped with a playground and a fenced backyard, providing plenty of opportunities for your child to enjoy fresh air and physical activities. Inside, we have iPads and tablets for educational learning apps that enhance the children’s skills and knowledge in a fun and interactive way. We also prioritize healthy eating habits by providing nutritious, homemade meals and snacks. Our menu is prepared in a peanut-free environment to ensure the safety of all children.

This place was like second home for my daughter. She, with the help of her assistant, takes really good care of kids. Whenever I drop my younger son to her place I never feel that I’m dropping him at a daycare. I always feel like I’m dropping him at my mom’s place. The way she takes care of the kids is priceless.
