Chopin Park Kids Playhouse is a bilingual Spanish daycare and preschool in Chicago, IL. Our daycare is located in the Gildersleves neighborhood, right off W Roscoe St and N Lockwood Ave and near Chopin (Frederic) Park. We’re very accessible to all commuters since we’re just less than 5 minutes’ away from W Irving Park Rd (route 19) and N Cicero Ave (route 50).
About Us:
Hi, parents! I’m the owner and main caregiver of this licensed family child care and early childhood education program. I’m a licensed provider with CPR and First-aid certification. I run my nurturing home daycare with my assistant and we have 12 years of combined experience.
We’re dedicated to helping families in the area by providing affordable and high-quality child care. Like you, I’m also a mom, so I know how difficult it is to find the suitable and right daycare for your little one. At Chopin Park Kids Playhouse, we work with parents to ensure we’re meeting their needs and expectations.
Curriculum:
My curriculum includes learning about the weather, days of the week, and months of the year. We follow the play-based learning approach and let the kids explore various stations that help them learn about life and being independent thinkers. We also learn science, counting, and spelling during circle time.
We have a Montessori-inspired program with several stations for career costumes, music, sensory, craft, etc. There is a whiteboard for learning activities and circle time. I also have age-appropriate toys and bins of puzzles and blocks for children to explore throughout the day.
Program:
Our in-home daycare and preschool is open all throughout the year from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays. We provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. Our facility is inclusive and we accept children with autism and ADHD. Peanut and tree-nut free lunch and snacks are provided to all kids attending our program.
We accommodate school-age kids up to 12 years old (we’re only 2 minutes’ drive away from William P. Gray Elementary School). If needed, we can arrange transportation for your child (not included in the tuition, so please inquire to ask about transportation costs).

The owner and her team have been wonderful with our son. We love knowing he’s getting the attention he needs & also has peers in his age group to play with. We chose this daycare because it has a home feeling in a structured daycare setting and have been happy with our choice since.

We are so happy with this daycare! My son started at 6 months. They have been great and helpful with transitions in milestones. My son is given great care and attention throughout the day and always comes home happy! The daycare is always very clean and hygienic. Overall this daycare is well run by a caring and knowledgeable team. I can’t say enough good things about them!

We are so unbelievably happy with our child's experience with this provider. We had a challenging experience with our previous daycare and were a little nervous, but she and her assistant are so wonderful. Our son is all smiles every time we drop him off and is happy and worn out when we pick him up, which is perfect! He is clearly well loved and taken care of. We really appreciate how communicative and professional she is. She is amazing.

They are just wonderful. we just moved back to Chicago and we’re so lucky to find them. My two littles love going to school. they have so much fun and are treated like family. My kids love their facilities and the food. They make sure the kids are well taken care of, fed and loved. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving a caring home daycare.

This daycare is an amazing place. I trust the provider with my son while I work. She is so loving to our son. My son every morning was excited to attend daycare. Provider is really committed to provide a safe,fun,clean loving environment. Ever since enrolling my child he learn so much starting with colors and numbers and so much more. I would recommend this daycare to other parents.

Es el primer home day care que a mis hijos les ah gustado, ya que los hacen sentir en casa y en un ambiente cálido y seguro. La proveedora de verdad que mis respetos por que en tiempo de pandemia no sólo hizo trabajo de cuidadora si no también de maestra para mis hijos, ahí Patrick aprendió a leer y escribir.
Recomendaría el home daycare una y otra vez por que es de los pocos en donde realmente te brindan el apoyo y cuidado que cualquier niño... more
