First Steps Home Childcare is a year-round home-based daycare located in the Humboldt Park/Logan Square/Wicker Park area of Chicago. First Steps is run by Damaris Aquino who has 15 years of childcare experience. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 4 years old including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time childcare. We provide meals and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. First Steps Home Childcare is a language immersion program that offers Spanish and English. Our teachers are all DCFS approved and have CPR/First Aid training and yearly continuing education.
