About
Play-based bilingual curriculum where each child can learn and play at his/her own pace is used on a daily basis to encourage learning and participation of the children. Children are encouraged to explore and discover while I facilitate their learning experience. Weekly theme activities are planned according to children's levels and interests. Arts and Crafts and Music and Movement are incorporated on a daily basis to engage and keep children interested in their learning.
My facility was inspected by the Montgomery County Fire Marshall to ensure it is a safe place for children to learn and explore. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am also certified to administer medication with a doctor's approval. I make sure all parts of the facility are checked on a daily basis to ensure all furniture, rooms, and toys are safe for children to use.
I received my Bachelor's Degree from Kean University, New Jersey. I am certified in PreK-3 grade and 1-6 grade as well as an ESOL Specialist. I received my ESOL training from GW University. I am the mother of a very smart 14-month-old. Once I became a mother I realized the need for having qualified home child care and decided to pursue my dream of having my own child care where I can offer an educational place for children to grow and learn.
