The Carrot Patch-Shoreline is a mother-daughter owned early learning center serving Madison, Guilford, Clinton and Westbrook. We are proud to say that every member of our teaching staff holds a Bachelors or Masters Degree with considerable early childhood education experience.
We offer a holistic, nature-focused curriculum individualized to meet the needs of our small classes. We build on children's innate connection to the natural world as a way to integrate literacy, science, music and movement, yoga, arts, mathematics, social studies and social-emotional development in a balanced way. Professional Spanish language instruction is provided in the preschool program.
The infants and toddlers have their own house--so cozy it feels like home! The preschool building is spacious, light and airy, and fully equipped for endless exploration and discovery. Our enchanting playscape was designed by landscape architects to provide the perfect setting for hours spent learning and playing out of doors each day.
