Dear parents, welcome to Village Of Hickory Children’s Den, my bilingual Spanish daycare in Columbia, MD. My licensed in-home daycare and preschool caters to the needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, providing a secure and stimulating environment for children from newborns to 5 years old. Nestled in the peaceful Village Of Hickory Ridge neighborhood, our child care facility is conveniently located just moments away from Columbia Pike (US-29), Little Patuxent Pkwy, and the Patuxent Fwy (route 32). We’re also near Howard County General Hospital and Howard Community College.

I’m the proud owner and primary caregiver, and as a mother of 2, I’ve always loved caring for children. I’m an experienced professional with 11 years of experience in early childhood education dream, and I’ve always dreamed of opening my own daycare. I finally achieved my dream, and I strive to offer an intimate setting that combines the comforts of home with the structured learning of a larger center or preschool. At Village Of Hickory Children’s Den, we are all-inclusive and welcome all children, including those with Autism and other Special Needs (please inquire to discuss your family’s needs). Here, every child will find a place to be understood and supported. My goal is to create a warm and inviting environment so that parents can leave their little ones in our care with confidence, knowing they are in capable and caring hands.

At Village Of Hickory Children’s Den, we understand that every family’s needs are unique. That’s why we offer flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and drop-in programs. Daily activities vary and include circle time, water play, free play, lunch, nap time, snacks, as well as more structured learning sessions. Our bilingual curriculum is designed to engage young minds: morning instruction and activities are in English while afternoons are dedicated to Spanish, making our program truly bilingual. We also use the Mother Goose curriculum to provide a rich educational experience that fosters both cognitive and social skills.

Our in-home daycare includes everything young children need to thrive, from a fun and secure backyard playground, to video cameras for safety. We also provide a separate nap room for quiet times, and welcome nursing/breastfeeding mothers. Snacks and lunch are already included in the tuition, to make parents’ life a little easier!
