Aiya's House Family Child Care, Columbia

We are Angela (Aiya) and Jody (JoJo), sisters and co-providers in the Owen Brown neighborhood in Columbia. Located near Dobbin Road off Oakland Mills, we offer a play-based environment where children are allowed to grow and learn naturally, through their own interests and explorations. We go to the Mall in Columbia for Family Fun Day each Thursday, as well as regular trips to Storyville at the Woodlawn Library. We provide breakfast, lunch and snacks as part of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program, and are CPR/First Aid certified. We offer sibling discounts (2yr+ openings also available), and are teacher-friendly (talk to us about summer needs)! Our main goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for your child with appropriate activities, stories, toys, games, and music, in addition to a healthy social environment. We have a daily schedule that is very flexible to go along with how the children are interacting and allow for unplanned events and other opportunities that come up.
