Welcome to Fair Lakes Children's Place, my intimate home daycare and preschool in Fairfax, VA. I’m a professional child care provider with experience teaching in a preschool before opening my own daycare. I'm also CPR & First-aid certified, so you can be sure that your child is safe at all times. I’m a mother of 5 so I have plenty of experience and I can also relate to your concerns when it comes to finding the best child care program for your precious little one. At my daycare, every child receives lots of individual attention since I only take a maximum of 4 children.

I believe that children learn best through play, which is why I follow the Play-based teaching philosophy. I always engage my students in fun, yet educational activities like Arts & Crafts, Story Time, Cooking and Gardening. In addition to English, I can also teach your child the Arabic language since I'm fluent (however, we're not a bilingual daycare.)

My home-based daycare and preschool is open year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 6 months and 5 years old. I’m part of the USDA Food Program and I serve peanut-free lunch and snacks to all children in my care (already included in the tuition!) I can also provide drop-in care for your occasional child care needs. Before and after school care are available for older kids, up to 13 years old (my home is close to Collin L. Powell Elementary School and Poplar Tree Elementary School).

Fair Lakes Children's Place is in the Fair Lakes neighborhood in Fairfax, VA. I’m right off Stringfellow Rd (route 645) and Fair Lakes Blvd, near Fairlakes Pkwy and Poplar Tree Park. Your daily commute to work will be convenient since I have easy access to these major roads: Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286), Walney Rd (route 657), and the I-66.
