Olney Park Educational Playhouse is a year-round home-based daycare in Falls Church, VA. Our family child care program is run by Mabel Morales who has 20 years of child care experience and has a Bachelor's degree. We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 3 months through 4 years old. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We provide meals and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. Olney Park Educational Playhouse is a Spanish immersion program. We use a play based curriculum. This provider is simply the best! She and her team take such great care of my son. As a first time mother in the midst of a pandemic, they eased my mind and provide the best care with the highest standards of safety. My third child started there this fall and I have been extremely happy with his care. This provider and her team are very attentive and enjoy playing with the children or during crafts. They have a great outdoor space for getting fresh air and she even throws holiday parties for the families. I would definitely recommend this daycare to other families.

The provider is beyond sweet with my daughter. She loves going there and hates to leave each day. This provider was so understanding when My daughter first started with my texts, calls, concerns, etc. The other teachers are also fantastic and she loves them all so much! I know each day that My daughter is in a clean, safe, loving environment!

My daughter has now been at this daycare for 7 months now, being a first time mother I was very apprehensive to leave my daughter with anyone. We started shopping around daycares while we were still expecting and I never got a good vibe from any, until I walked into this daycare. It was so clean and full of artwork and toys. These providers are a true blessing to care for your child! Our 2 1/2 year old daughter was with them for about a year and we never had any complaints. She loved her time there because they were nurturing and attentive. Plus, there is a fun play set outside. Ms. M. did sweet crafts and had holiday parties. There is nothing better as a mother to leave your child with someone you know cares about your child and your child enjoys just the sane!

This provider and her colleague are highly caring and extremely competent. We feel like our son is in excellent care while we are at work, which means the world to us. The space is clean and cheerful. The staff are calm and patient with the children and have a great sense of humor with them. Highly recommend!

These providers are wonderful with my infant daughter. She has been there for 3 months now and is always greeted very warmly. I feel at ease knowing my baby is in good hands while I’m at work.

Our daughter started at this daycare when she was 3 months old and was there until she was almost 3 before going to preschool. We can not say enough good things about our experience with this provider and her team. This provider was amazing with our small children. They were happy during the day and did not rush to leave when I got there. She provided home cooked meals. It was a safe and fun environment. It was impressive how behaved all the kids were. They went outside everyday. Never had a diaper rash. I can’t say enough good things about this provider and the care she provides.

Sophia was my first and only child and I knew nothing about childcare. The provider had been highly recommended by a friend who 10 years prior had had this provider take care of her sons so I knew that this provider was experienced. This home daycare is wonderful! My son was there from 5 months to 3 years old and I wish she would have been able to keep him longer. Wonderfully caring and loving staff. Great home cooked food and they keep the kids active and engaged; teach sharing, loving, respect, and togetherness. My only regret is my office moved so I wasn't able to send my 2nd son for her care. I would recommend this home daycare to anyone who asks in the area.
