Welcome to Jefferson Little Kids Playhouse, my small home-based daycare and preschool in Falls Church, VA! I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have a decade of experience in child care and early childhood education. I worked at another licensed child care center for 10 years, but I prefer the intimate environment of a small program, so I decided to open my own daycare! I run a homey family child care program and will care for a maximum of 4 children, so you can be sure that your little one will get plenty of attention. In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m also CPR and First-aid certified. I’m a mother of 3 myself, so I can relate to your needs when it comes to finding a quality, yet affordable daycare. My hours of operation are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers (ages between 2 weeks and 13 years old including children with special needs); my goal is to be flexible, so that families can have peace of mind when they need to work. If needed, I also provide weekend care on Saturdays and Sundays (please inquire to ask about additional tuition for weekend care). Drop-in care is also available for your occasional needs. All children attending to my program are served with lunch and snacks (already included in the tuition). Children learn best through play, so I decided to follow the Play-based learning principles. In addition to English, I also speak Pashto and Urdu and at your request, I can expose your child to these foreign languages. If weather permits, I take my little students to the community playground so they can have fun during our outdoor playtime. Jefferson Little Kids Playhouse is located in the Jefferson apartment complex in Seven Corners area of Falls Church, VA. I’m right off Leesburg Pike (route 7), near the Seven Corner Center shopping mall. Your daily commute will be convenient since I have easy access to Arlington Blvd (US-50) and my home is a few minutes’ drive from the I-66. Please send an email or call to schedule a visit!
