Poole Pride & Joy Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Fort Washington, MD. Our family child care program is run by Arcine Poole who has 30 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:30am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. Mrs. Poole was AMAZING. My daughter loved going to see her "Nanu" and often would not want to leave. Her social and academic development was amazing and she learned a lot, while also having The meals and snacks provided were healthy and accommodating. When we left my daughter continued to ask how Mrs. Poole was and when she could go back. Highly recommend. 5/5.

As the childcare name implies, caregiver Arcine Poole is a Joy to not only the children but the parents What sets her apart is she is not just running a business but genuinely cares and nurtures the children as her own. I love her style and approach which allows each child to maximize his/her character and academic development in a unique way. Wow. Where to begin...first I am a momma bear...helicopter mom whatever you want to call it...Mrs. Poole is very patient, knowledgeable regarding children, wise, loves the outdoors, models healthy eating for the children and the children love her! You definitely will be very pleased with this childcare home!
