Sharon's Early Learning and Home Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Fort Washington, MD. Our family child care program is run by Sharon Lucas who has 37 years of child care experience. We are open from 7:00am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 2 months through 10 years old, including children with special needs. My daughter came to Sharon Lucas after having some behavior problems at other daycares. She was very patient with trying to find a way to work with and overcome Jada's issues. Jada began to love going to Ms. Lucas house and the arts and crafts they did. I like that Sharon allows the students to move and well be children. My children went to this daycare from 8 weeks old. The provider is loving and caring. The home is clean and and the provider ensured my children were ready for kindergarten!

Mrs. Lucas is an excellent teacher. She is caring and devoted to all of the kids. My children are teenagers now and I have never trusted them with anyone else. Love you Lucas!

My son has been in Mrs. Lucas since he was 3 months old ... he is now 4yrs of age. From day one, Mrs. Lucas made me feel secure with leaving my child with her ... especially, being a first time mom. I knew I made the best decision when - 1. She told me it was okay to call as many times as I felt the need to check on my baby and 2. I called and didn't hear him fussing in the background. Mrs. Lucas will love your child like he/she is her own. She is wonderful with the children in her care and they love her the same. My daughter talks about her all the time.
