Hello, my name is Leslie. I taught elementary school for 6 years before choosing to stay home to raise my children. I received my child care license in 2016 and have had the honor of caring for children in my home since then. Although I am licensed for 6 children, I like to have no more that 4 children at a time so I can really devote individual attention to each of them. I follow a play-based system because I believe children learn the most through everyday experiences. The children and I enjoy outdoor time in which we get to explore and play, music, crafts, cooking...the list goes on. I view each child as if they were my own, and treat them as such.

We found Leslie when we lived in Frederick and it was one of the best moves we made. Both of our sons were with her and we eventually left only because we were moving closer to our family. Meeting Leslie and having her join our family has been an absolute blessing. She cares for my boys like her own and her knowledge and tender heart are just the icing on top of what makes her an incredible care taker. My boys LOVE coming to her house and look forward to seeing her each week. She’s compassionate, honest and transparent. I couldn’t recomend a better provider.
