Hi parents, welcome to Ancient Oak Kids Playhouse, my home daycare in Gaithersburg, MD (between Darnestown and North Potomac). My child care facility is located in the Ancient Oak neighborhood of Gaithersburg, right off Darnestown Rd.
I care for children as young as 6 weeks up to 6 years old, and my daycare offers full-time and part-time child care. For your convenience, I am open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm. If you have more than one child, a sibling discount is offered.
I am the owner and caregiver of this small and family-oriented child care program. I have 25 years of experience in child care and I am also a mother of 3. I'm First Aid and CPR certified, as well as MAT trained (I can administer medication to the children in my care.)
The main goal of my home-based child care program is to provide a safe and healthy environment for all children. I also want to offer quality play-based early education, and will engage my little students in many age-appropriate developmental activities. In addition to English, I speak Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.

this is my first day care with baby #1. this day care is amazing! The caregiver is so amazing and cares for each child and their needs. Her home is clean and safe for all! I could not have asked for a better day care for my son.

I can’t begin to say enough about this Child Care! She took care of both of my girls from infancy and she was truly like a second mom to them. Very communicative and great in-home environment.

I am so grateful to have found this daycare provider. I was nervous about going back to work and she made the transition so much easier. She has great communication skills and is so attentive to my little one. My son is always happy at drop off and pickup. I truly don’t know what I would do without her.

The providers do an amazing job caring for our little one! Our daughter enters and leaves the daycare each day with a huge smile on her face. The main provider is great with communication and feedback, which we really appreciate. The teachers are very nurturing and we have the peace of mind that our daughter is in the best hands. The owner provides a warm and loving environment that our child is always so happy to be in! I am a little jealous of the giant hugs she gets every time we drop off. We have been nothing but pleased with her care, and it is especially nice that there is a separate sleep area for babies.

This provider was a complete godsend. Our initial daycare provider decided to retire and move away. We didn't think we would get lucky twice but we did. This provider treats your child like they are her own. I had no worries throughout the day while I was at work. I knew my child was in safe hands and that she was having fun. In a word, this provider is amazing! She has been a nanny for 20 years and has honed the essential skills to nurture, enrich and shape each child she cares for like no other caretaker we have worked with.
