OPENINGS: We have part-time openings for 2 years old and above on Mondays and Tuesdays all day and Wednesday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.
Next full-time infant opening is anticipated in April 2025!
Hi parents! I am a mother of 4 with 15 years of child care experience, and I’m the owner of Hidden Creek Playhouse, a home daycare in Gaithersburg, MD. I’m first-aid and CPR certified, as well as MAT trained (I’m able to administer medication, if needed). I also hold an Associates’ Degree in Science. I provide full-time child care as well as part-time daycare, and we’re open from 7:00am until midnight. Our regular hours of operation are 7:00am-6:00pm. At Hidden Creek Playhouse, I have a capacity of 8 children maximum, so I provide a home-like environment to your children.
My family child care program provides care for infants (newborns), as well as toddlers and preschoolers through 5 years old. I also provide before and after school care for school-aged children up to 12 years old (my daycare is close to Strawberry Knoll Elementary, Flowerhill Elementary School, and Southlake Elementary School). In addition to English, I also speak Urdu and can expose my students to a foreign language if you’d like (however, we are not a bilingual or language immersion daycare).
I provide lunch and snacks, and I offer a peanut-free and tree-nut free environment. My family child care and preschool program is conveniently located near Midcounty Hwy and Woodfield Rd, so your daily commute to work will be convenient. I also have easy access to Emory Grove Rd and Montgomery Village Ave.

I am very happy with this Family Child Care. My son really enjoys going there and I am extremely happy to have found a place where my son is happy to go every time and safe. The Staff is extremely friendly, caring and understanding.

I really appreciate teachers because my daughter enjoys spending time there. She has two best friends who are same ages, and older children are also good stimulation to her. It is not really clear what kind of activity children do since parents do not see photos in the daycare and my daughter has not brought any product yet. I would like to get more feedback everyday or at some point (ex. monthly summary)

My daughter has been with the daycare from 12 weeks to almost 4 years old. I initially had my hesitations about a home daycare, but they have been unfounded. She has always loved going to daycare and has been welcomed as part of the family. It is such a reassuring thing as a working parent to know your child is in a welcoming environment. My son has been going here since he was 3 months old. He is social, didn't have strange anxiety, and reached his milestones earlier than expected because he interacts often with kids in this day care. Yes, he has had the typical cold, cough, runny nose on and off since he was 7 months but nothing compared to what I've seen in corporate day care settings. This provider has been so phenomenal with taking care of our daughter! Our daughter was a pandemic baby and took some time adjusting. She helped her get used to it - despite our daughter crying every day for 2 weeks when she started at age 1. This place is great. Providers are very caring and loving. My child loves this daycare as well as their providers. Everytime I picked him up he will have a smile in his face. I am very satisfied with the caring they provided for my son. The schedule is very flexible and the space is great, lot of toys, books and more for your child to learn while having fun.

As our first try with daycare, my family cannot thank this provider enough for the supportive, loving and safe environment she provided for our daughter. We had no idea just how much we needed this level of care. This provider was flexible working within my schedule constraints including regular nights and weekends. It was a comfort to have a consistent and reliable daycare provider.

I was really worried about going back to work and leaving my baby with anyone, but this provider has really calmed my fears by taking great care of my daughter. She and her daughters are very warm and caring with my baby and I always feel comfortable having her there during the day while I work because I know she is in good hands.

I would strongly refer this daycare to any parent. This provider does a great job in taking care of my son. Each time i drop my son off at her daycare,i am always at peace because he is in good hands.
