Welcome to Mt. Prospect Bilingual Kids Playhouse, a bilingual Spanish daycare and preschool in North Potomac, MD. My child care facility is nestled in the Mt. Prospect neighborhood, near Travilah Rd and Dufief Mill Rd. Your daily commute to work will be hassle-free since I'm located between major roads Darnestown Rd (route 28) and River Rd (route 190).
About Me
I'm the owner and main caregiver of this home-based child care and preschool program, and I have 17 years of experience. I'm a professional child care provider with a Child Development Associates Degree and CPR & First-aid certifications. As a mother myself, I can definitely relate to your family's child care needs and concerns. My goal is to help working parents have peace of mind while they are away from their little precious one.
Curriculum
I follow the Play-based learning approach, which allows children to learn through play. In addition to English, I teach them Spanish and American Sign Language. My daily activities include learning shapes, colors, and letters, and playing outside if the weather is nice. I have lots of age-appropriate learning materials and there are stations of toys for sensory activities and circle time. In the summer, I have a fun summer camp program for the kids.
Program
Mt. Prospect Bilingual Kids Playhouse is open year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. Drop-in care is also an option for families that are just only looking for occasional child care needs. All children enrolled in my program are served with snacks (already included in the tuition).

We really were lucky to find this provider to care for our boy's. They come up with so many activities, art projects, and themes during the year. Communication has been excellent and we constantly get updates throughout the day via an app with photos.

We have been very happy with this child care provider and how much our son has grown since starting with her. She has a very clean, new child care and I have no regrets with choosing her as our child care provider. Everyday during drop off and pick up, you can witness her interactions with the children and you can see she really enjoys what she does. I would highly recommend!

We love everything about this childcare provider! We were anxious about finding a new daycare when our last one closed, but now we see the whole situation as a blessing in disguise. This provider has been wonderful with our daughter. She comes home learning new things every week. This provider goes above and beyond to make sure our daughter is educated and entertained. She keeps her on schedule which is also appreciated. We sent both our oldest boys to this provider and we loved how caring she was and also loved that she taught them Spanish too. She did lots of activities with the boys and they really enjoyed going to her each day.

We love this daycare! Both my babies came at 3 months old and we felt so comfortable and confident that they were safe and happy. The owner is fun, caring and creative! We feel so lucky to have her in our lives.
