Hello parents! Welcome to Suffield Kids Playhouse, our licensed in-home daycare in Gaithersburg, MD. Our child care and preschool facility is right off Suffield Drive, in the heart of the Amberfield neighborhood. Centrally located near major roads like the I-270, I-370, and Darnestown Rd, our location is convenient for your daily commute.
About Me
As a mother of one with over 12 years of experience in child care, I understand the importance of providing a loving, secure, and stimulating environment for children. As a provider, I ensure each child receives individual attention and care. I believe in creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and safe.
Program
Our hours are from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Our daycare is designed to cater to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, offering full-time child care and preschool programs. We understand that each age group has unique needs and our facility and curriculum are tailored to meet these requirements.
Facility
Our fenced backyard is equipped with a safe outdoor play area, ensuring your child's security while they explore and learn through play. Inside, our rooms are filled with educational toys, puzzles, blocks, and a plethora of books that cater to all ages, fostering a love for learning and creativity.
Daily Activities
A typical day at Suffield Kids Playhouse is a blend of fun and learning. For our infants and toddlers, we provide age-appropriate activities that stimulate their senses and promote healthy growth. For our toddlers and preschoolers, the day begins with engaging activities like puzzle solving and block building, which are great for developing fine motor skills and cognitive abilities.
We also explore the alphabet, practice writing numbers, and learn about shapes and colors through various projects including painting and crafts. During warmer months, the children enjoy outdoor play, basking in the sunshine and fresh air. It's not just play; it's about developing physical abilities, and social skills.
Fluent in English, Farsi, and Persian, I celebrate diversity and encourage multicultural understanding among our little students. I can also introduce them to a foreign language, upon parents' request.

She has been in our lives for the last 8 years. She has lovingly cared for all three of my children. She is very dependable and her home is a warm environment for the children. She provides lunch and snacks and all my kids have learned plenty for their age while there. I highly recommend.

Lorenzo loves going to daycare and loves the caregiver. We have been attending daycare since my son was 9months, he is now 3. I am very thankful for the love and care shown to my son, help potty training and making everyday a great environment for him. Highly recommend!

Our daughter developed well here and had a smooth transition to kindergarten.
We’ve used this daycare for over 6 years and all of our kids. They love the friends they make there and look forward to their week with this caregiver in a kind, loving environment.
Our oldest child is still excited to see everyone when we go pick up her sister together, as are others who have siblings here.

Wonderful in home day care recommended to us by both a neighbor and close friend. Our son has been attending since he was five months and has always loved it. Whenever we drop him off he walks right in and when we pick him up he’s always in a great mood. The caregiver shows a lot of love and attention to all of the children. We have been very happy and would recommend to others.

We have consistently had at least one of our 3 children here for the last 9 years - a true sign of how amazing it is! Our now elementary school aged kids still ask to go and visit this caregiver. She is kind and patient and the kids are consistently happy at the end of the day and excited to go back the following morning.
