My Teaching Philosophy Based on my experience as a licensed childcare provider, I have seen that children learn best by actually doing whatever it is they need to remember. This is the reason why the fun activities I facilitate are concrete and hands-on. They also encourage constant participation. After all, effective learning must be an exciting experience done through play in order to fully engage a growing child’s mind, body, and spirit. The children I handle receive a lot of free and structured play throughout each day. For structured play, I provide one group of toys or conduct a single activity so the kids can focus on what they are doing. My aim is to give each child the right balance of playing and learning experiences. I also want him/her to develop his/her skills at his/her own pace in a stimulating environment that instills a lifelong love of learning.
