Ajaz's Daycare is a small group of children of varied ages. The first thing we gear towards is emotional security and social skills. Music and reading are also stressed. We have a lot of time for outdoor play in our fenced backyard playground. Since we take care of 2 years old, potty training is also encouraged. We have achievement stickers for potty training success. The strongest reprimand for naughty behavior is a time out. This is given after a lot of correction and talking to. Sharing and good behavior is encouraged. Hugs are numerous, children are encouraged to use the magic words (please, thank you, sorry). Children thrive on positive reinforcement, we correct unacceptable behavior with love and understanding.
