Brookstone Kids Playhouse, Germantown

Hello, parents! Welcome to Brookstone Kids Playhouse, my home daycare in Germantown, MD. I’ve been running my licensed family child care program since 2003. For the past 20 years, I have gained extensive experience that has helped me to become an expert in providing quality child care and early education! I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, and I am also CPR and First-aid certified. As a mother myself, I understand how crucial it is for you to find the best quality care for your child. At my daycare, you’ll always have peace of mind while you’re away from your little one, as I am dedicated to providing a high standard of care.

My home-based daycare is open from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I can provide full-time and part-time child care for infants as young as 4 weeks, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 6 years old. I also accept children with special needs, including Autism and ADHD. I can accommodate before and after school care for older kids (I am just a few minutes away from Great Seneca Creek Elementary School) and drop-in care for your occasional needs. My child care facility is also peanut-free and tree-nut free, and I provide snacks to the children in my care (included in the tuition).

I strongly believe that children learn best through play, and therefore, I use a play-based teaching philosophy. In front of my home, there’s a nice playground where your children can play and have fun. I have organized bins filled with toys, puzzles, and blocks to foster your child's creativity and cognitive development. My curriculum consists of engaging activities such as coloring, playing in the sandbox, playdough, story time, and learning letters and numbers. In addition to English, I also speak Urdu and Pashto, and upon request, I can teach your child these foreign languages (please note that my daycare is not bilingual).

Brookstone Kids Playhouse is located in the Brookstone community of Germantown, off Richter Farm Rd and Great Seneca Hwy (near the Cloppers Mill Village Shopping Center).
