Welcome to Churchill Town Cozy Corner, our licensed daycare and preschool in the Churchill Town Sector subdivision of Germantown, MD! Our cozy home-based child care facility offering a warm and reliable option for local families.

Our daycare is located just off Father Hurley Blvd, with easy access to Washington National Pike (I-270), Frederick Rd (MD 355), and Germantown Rd (MD 118). We’re also less than five minutes from Waters Landing Elementary School and Waters Landing Park, making us a convenient child care program for families in Germantown and the surrounding Montgomery County area.

Program:

Churchill Town Cozy Corner is open year-round, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. We offer both full-time and part-time child care for infants as young as 6 weeks old, as well as toddlers and preschoolers.

For school-age children up to 12 years old, we also offer before- and after-school care. Drop-in care is available for families who occasionally need child care due to unexpected plans or changing schedules.

All children at Churchill Town Cozy Corner receive healthy daily snacks, which are included in tuition. We also maintain a peanut- and tree-nut-free environment, with the health and safety of the children in our care always a top priority.

About Me:

Hello parents! 👋 I’m the founder and main caregiver at Churchill Town Cozy Corner. As a mother of two with more than 13 years of child care experience, I understand how important it is to find a daycare where children feel safe and genuinely cared for, and where parents can feel comfortable knowing their little ones are with someone they trust.

That is why I opened Churchill Town Cozy Corner. I wanted to create a home-like child care environment where every child receives the individualized care, attention, and encouragement they deserve during these important early years. My master’s degree in Social Work has given me a strong foundation for supporting children’s social and emotional development, and I am also CPR and First Aid certified.

Caring for children is more than a profession to me. It is something I genuinely love and find incredibly rewarding. I enjoy creating engaging, meaningful activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, learning, and positive development while celebrating each child’s individual personality and accomplishments.

Philosophy:

I believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and positive environment where they can comfortably explore, play, and discover new skills. At Churchill Town Cozy Corner, I recognize that every child is unique, with their own personality, interests, and pace of development, so I focus on providing attentive and individualized care.

Through play, creative and age-appropriate activities, and positive guidance, I help children develop important skills while having fun and building meaningful relationships. My goal is to give children the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace while providing the support and encouragement they need along the way.

Families are also an important part of a child’s early learning experience. I keep parents informed and welcome their thoughts, questions, and feedback so we can work together to provide each child with the best possible care.

In addition to English, I am fluent in Hindi and can introduce children to Hindi upon request in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate way. I am committed to making Churchill Town Cozy Corner a place where children feel at home, families feel comfortable, and every child is encouraged to learn, discover, and grow.

Daily Activities:

At Churchill Town Cozy Corner, our days include a healthy balance of learning, play, creativity, and discovery. Activities are planned according to the children’s ages and developmental needs so that each child can participate in ways that are appropriate and engaging for them.

Daily activities may include reading and story time, arts and crafts, music and singing, dancing and movement, sensory play, simple science experiments, puzzles, matching and sorting games, coloring, drawing, building blocks, and age-appropriate problem-solving activities. Children also have opportunities for pretend play and group activities that encourage communication, cooperation, sharing, and positive social interaction.

When weather permits, we enjoy outdoor play, movement games, and opportunities to explore and observe nature. Along with planned activities, children have time for free play so they can follow their interests, use their imaginations, and discover things at their own pace.

Our daily routines also give children opportunities to practice independence and self-help skills, such as making choices, cleaning up, and participating in everyday routines. I aim to provide a balanced day that includes structured learning, creative expression, physical activity, social connection, and quiet time.

My goal is to make every day at Churchill Town Cozy Corner meaningful and enjoyable while giving children the freedom to learn through play and create happy memories along the way. 🥰
