Cloppers Mill West Playhouse, Germantown

Welcome to Cloppers Mill West Playhouse, my licensed in-home daycare and preschool in Germantown, MD. My child care facility is located in the Cloppers Mill West neighborhood, right off Richter Farm Rd and Great Seneca Hwy (near Shoppers Germantown and the Cloppers Mill Village Shopping Mall). I also have easy access to Germantown Rd (route 118), Riffle Ford Rd, Darnestown Rd (route 28), and Quince Orchard Rd (route 124).

I’m the owner and main caregiver of this nurturing child care and early childhood education program. I’m a licensed provider with 25 years of experience and CPR & First-aid certifications. My passion and love for kids are the main reason why I decided to open my own family child care. It’s fun to work with kids, seeing them happy always puts a smile on my face! I'm a patient, loving, encouraging, and passionate child care provider (I take relevant courses to strengthen my experience). In addition to English, I also teach children American Sign Language and can expose them to Farsi and Persian languages (however, my daycare is not a bilingual program).

Cloppers Mill West Playhouse is open year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday only. My curriculum emphasizes behavior and manners. My main goal is to make sure children are learning, and saying please and thank you. I offer various flexible options, such as full-time for newborn babies and then full and part-time care for toddlers, and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I can also accommodate drop-in care for families only looking for occasional child care needs. Peanut-free and tree-nut free snacks are provided to all kids attending my care (included in the tuition). For older kids up to 12 years old, I can offer before and after school care (my home is close to Great Seneca Creek Elementary School, Clopper Mill Elementary School, as well as Germantown Elementary, Spark M. Matsunaga Elementary, and Ronald McNair Elementary). To prevent any disease caused by bacteria and viruses, I clean and sanitize toys, tables, and surfaces, and we wash our hands regularly.
