Welcome to Germantown Estates Cozy Corner in Germantown, MD! We are a licensed daycare and preschool program located in the Germantown Estates neighborhood of Germantown, MD. Our convenient location, just off Dawson Rd, makes us easily accessible from Germantown Rd, (MD 118) and Father Hurley Blvd. Plus, we’re just a few minutes from the I-270 and Germantown Elementary School, making us a perfect choice for families in Montgomery County.

We are open year-round, Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. We provide both full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 8 weeks old, toddlers, and preschoolers up to 5 years of age. We welcome children with special needs and strive to provide an inclusive and supportive environment. To ensure the best possible experience, we work with parents to determine whether we can adequately support each child’s individual needs safely and appropriately Healthy and well-balanced lunch and snacks are also provided daily and included in the tuition! These are prepared in a peanut-free space to ensure the safety of the little ones with allergies.

Hello parents! I am the proud owner and primary caregiver of Germantown Estates Cozy Corner, and I bring over 5 years of hands-on child care experience. In addition to caring for my own little one, I spent 2 years volunteering at a kindergarten and later worked as an assistant at a local daycare center. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in English Language Teaching and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I opened Germantown Estates Cozy Corner with a desire to create a warm, welcoming environment where children feel at home, are able to express themselves freely, and experience growth every day. I have always believed that children thrive in a space filled with kindness and patience, one where they can explore at their own pace and build genuine connections. Welcoming families into this community and supporting them through these formative early years is a source of great joy and fulfillment for me. Some of my favorite moments are witnessing the laughter, learning, and small achievements that make each day special. It is truly a privilege to be entrusted with such an important part of a child’s life, and I approach this responsibility with gratitude and dedication. My ultimate goal is to ensure that every child who walks through our doors feels loved, supported, and ready to embrace all the possibilities ahead.

At Germantown Estates Cozy Corner, our philosophy is built on genuine care, connection, and respect for every child. We believe that when children feel safe and connected, they are more open to exploring, learning, and developing confidence in themselves. By fostering a warm, home-like environment, we nurture each child’s curiosity, confidence, and sense of belonging, helping them explore the world with joy and comfort. Through positive relationships, play-based learning, and consistent support, we strive to ensure that every child feels valued, empowered, and inspired each day. Our goal is to create a space where children are excited to discover who they are and embrace all the possibilities each day brings.

Each day is filled with meaningful, play-based experiences that spark curiosity and build essential early childhood skills. We start each morning with circle time, where we sing, share stories, and connect with friends. We then move on to story time, arts and crafts, music and movement, sensory play, and hands-on projects, such as cooking and simple science activities. We also incorporate outdoor playtime in our fenced playground, when the weather is nice, to support motor skills and encourage exploration in a safe and welcoming setting. In addition to English, I am also fluent in Persian. Upon parents' request, the children can also be introduced to an additional language, creating enriching cultural experiences that broaden their understanding of the world. Throughout the day, the children develop social skills, confidence, and independence in a warm and supportive setting, ending each day feeling safe, encouraged, and excited to return tomorrow.
