Welcome to Khalida's Family Child Care, a small and cozy home-based daycare in Herndon, VA! I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 23 years of child care experience! I’m also CPR & First-aid certified. I run a small family child care program to create an intimate, home-like environment for children. You can rest assured that your little one will receive plenty of individual attention since I will care for a maximum of 4 children. My family child care program follows the play-based approach and is open year-round between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants as young as 4 weeks, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old. At this time, my program is better suited for young children as my English communication skills are limited for now. I am taking regular weekly classes to improve my English but for now, the languages I speak fluently are ​Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, and Pashto. Location: Khalida's Family Child Care is located in Herndon VA, in the Hunters Creek community. My home is right off Herndon Pkwy, near Herndon Elementary School.
