Northlakes Academy Child Development Center opened its doors in August of 1981. We are a North Carolina Star Rated licensed center, receiving a 5 star accreditation based on staff education and program standards. Our purpose is to provide a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for children to learn and grow. We also participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program and therefore, serve healthy and nutritious meals and snacks.
Northlakes Academy is a year-round center in Hickory, NC. We are open from 6:00am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We provide meals and offer a peanut free environment. At a minimum, our teachers have an Associate's degree.
