We have two Centers on our campus at Inglewood Avenue Preschool Academy, Infant Center and Preschool Center. Our center’s custom designed playscapes, age appropriate classrooms, and educational toys designed to foster your child’s creativity. Statistics establish that the years between 25th weeks of life through 4 years the brain develop rapidly, it is during this time a child most easily learns. Based on this premise our center is designed to enhance and encourage the child’s creative ability, promote his/her intellectual growth and provide for his/her social and emotional development. Inglewood Avenue Preschool Academy curriculum philosophy is based on The Emergent Curriculum that advocates the “Whole Child” developmental focus. The curriculum supports the Five “Selves” of the Whole Child. Physical Self Emotional Self Social Self Creative Self Cognitive Self Using a “brain-based learning approach”, the curriculum includes experiences and activities that encompass verbal fluency, visual, auditory and kinesthetic experiences, babies as young as six weeks to school-age children are exposed to the fascinating world of learning. Inglewood Avenue Preschool Academy teachers are passionate about your child’s happiness and education and provide a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem. Our teachers are dedicated to developing your child’s learning potential and are sensitive to your child’s individual needs. Our experienced staff have their credentials and/or certificates in early childhood education. We require ongoing training for our staff through State classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All our staff are trained in First Aid and CPR.
