Changing the world one child at a time! That's our motto at Precious Gems daycare. Since 1997, our Christian child care center has been committed to providing you and your children a Christ-centered, safe, and affordable childcare environment. Precious Gems concentrates in the development of children ages 2 to 12 and welcomes children irrespective of ethnic background, race, color or religious beliefs. Our program focuses first and foremost on teaching the morals and values prescribed in the Christian Bible. The center's varied resources also provide each child with a variety of choices in learning experiences that challenge the imagination and stimulates the development of thinking skills. Daily, children participate in activities, which include music, pre-math, pre-reading, and pre-writing skills, creative art, dramatic play and development of large and small muscles through games and outside play. A safe, secure Christian environment, and a staff of caring adults who understand the development of children's cognitive and motor skills will help a child to develop the skills needed for the years ahead. A child's emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs are carefully and affectionately met by people who understand how children see the world. Our program includes a food service program, which provides a hot/cold breakfast, a hot/cold lunch, and an afternoon snack. Our Christian child care center is managed by LaKisha, Wilson. As a ministry of King George Church of God, Precious Gems is overseen by Pastor Milton Carter with periodic reviews by the church board of elders. Theres nothing like the peace of mind a quality daycare can provide, and we know that.
