About Us:
After having our own kids, my husband and I realized what it felt like to leave your most valuable and loved possession in someone else's hands. It was very difficult, so we decided to open our own daycare, where kids are loved all day and where we can promote an active learning environment. Our facility is equipped with an indoor gym, cafeteria/common area, books, toys, learning posters and rugs. We also have outdoor activities and occasional field trips.
Curriculum:
At our daycare, we use a movement-based philosophy and our pre-K curriculum is taught through a traditional and non-traditional active learning approach. We also follow the Play-based learning principles, allowing kids to learn through play and educational activities. Our program includes yoga, gym time, modern body exercise, discovery time, traditional learning and free play.
We have a fully certified teacher on staff. We have Spanish classes (however, please note that we’re not a bilingual program) and teach American Sign Language. I addition to English, I speak Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi and at your request, I can expose your little one to these foreign languages. We are dedicated to helping our little students to enhance their skills they will need to succeed throughout their early educational years!
Program:
Busy Minds Day Care is open year round from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. We provide full-time and part-time care for children as young as 10 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We can also offer Drop-in care for your occasional needs. Our daycare is a peanut free environment and we serve milk and snacks.
