Lollipop Daycare is a seasoned licensed family childcare. We are located 10 minutes south of Patuxent River Naval Base in Lexington Park, MD. Ms. Cathy cares for children as young as 12 months through 6 years old. Our philosophy is children learn through play. Lollipop Daycare use the problem solving and planning strategy methods. We have a preschool curriculum that helps with school readiness. Daily activities consist of circle time (storybook readings, group discussion, sing-a-long, and other activities and games), the curriculum also involves writing and reciting letters and numbers, practicing letter sounds, marble math - adding and subtracting with marbles, learning colors and shapes, patterns, sizing and reading comprehension. Outdoor play includes games, swings, kick balls, push toys and ride-a-longs. They have just as much fun during indoor free play with building blocks, arts & crafts, coloring, painting, learning toys, puzzles, dramatic play dress-up chest, and exercising. Two healthy meals and snacks are included in the cost (Breakfast, a.m. & afternoon snack, lunch) Our facility is operated by A mother/ Daughter duo with healthcare backgrounds as well.
