Elede Childcare is a year-round home-based daycare in Lorton, VA. Our family child care program is run by Elede Abubaker who has 35 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:30am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 0 weeks through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We could not be luckier. Our daughter has been with Elede for a few years now. Elede has become part of our family. When our son was born it was a no brainer to send him. Our kids are cared for, loved, happy, and safe. Our son has flourished as he works through all his milestones. Our daughter has been potty trained, learned to count, the alphabet and so much more.

My son started with Elede when he was 10 months old and he loved every second until he transitioned to preschool! He still asks to go see her now that my daughter is there. Elede truly treats the children in her care like they are her own. We are so lucky we found her and lucky to say she feels like family!

Every time I drop of my daughter, I feel like I am leaving her at my mothers house. When I was exploring different daycares and homecares this was my final stop before making a decision. The moment we walked in, my daughter was running and playing like we were at home and refused to leave. I knew this was the one. Compared to other places I use to go, I can tell the owner is passionate about providing great care and enjoys the time with the kids.

This provider provides a wonderful, loving, environment with lots of colors, toys and stimulation. She provides individual one-on-one attention to children she cares for. When I first met her, her warm greeting immediately eased my worry of leaving my daughter with her. As a working mother I was terrified at leaving my child with anyone.
