Welcome to Spirit Child Development Center (Spirit CDC) and Spirit Early Intervention Program (Spirit EIP), Comprehensive Preschool and Child Development Centers located in Los Angeles, California, adjacent to the University of Southern California (USC). Spirit CDC is a non-profit organization available year round. We are a licensed day care designed to provide an engaging preschool experience for children, ages 2 years – first grade entry (6 years), with particular focus on low income or at-risk children. Spirit EIP is a comprehensive early intervention program for children 0-3 years with special needs. Spirit embraces the best of early childhood education curricula and combines it with the optimum learning environment for all children, regardless of their developmental age, stage, and/or ability. Spirit CDC was founded in 2004 and Spirit EIP was added in 2007 by owner; Stephanie Dinwiddie, Ph.D. Dr. Dinwiddie was a Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California for over 18 years. She also oversees the development and implementation of several educational programs
