Welcome to Pine Tree Preschool! We are excited about the opportunity of getting to know your family. We are committed to meeting your child's cognitive, physical, emotional, and social needs through the center's caring faculty, proven curriculum, and an environment conducive to learning. Pine Tree Preschool's mission is to provide our community of children from diverse ethnic, linguistic, and economic backgrounds with developmentally and culturally appropriate quality care and academic preparation so that each child can have a happy, successful, and productive childhood. It is the intention of the center to provide a child-oriented, developmentally appropriate curriculum where children learn through play and exploration of their environment. These activities promote success for children because they are geared towards developmental stages and individual abilities and interests. Our preschool program supports the use of learning through cognitive growth, multi-cultural awareness, creative growth, and social responsibility. Furthermore, our curriculum and spatial organization of each classroom are designed to facilitate children's learning by encouraging them to explore, experiment, problem solve, share ideas, and apply knowledge.
