St. Dominic Preschool opened in February 2012 and since then we have been providing a safe and nurturing preschool environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development to the young children of St. Dominic family and community. This happens through frequent, positive, warm interactions with the teachers and planned learning activities appropriate to the children’s age and development, such as block building, painting, reading stories, dress-up, and active outdoor play. What separates us from other preschools in the area is that St. Dominic also helps the children know and love God who made them. They come to realize that it is God’s infinite goodness and love that makes them special. Through the lessons, they delight in and develop their abilities and respond to God with joy, thanks and praise. Our goal is to shape attitudes in the children that will prepare them to be committed Catholics who comprehend the truths of our faith and live by them.
