Welcome to Creative Learning Preschool. We provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for hands on learning and exploring. We learn through themes, exploring the world using such teaching methods as DAP-developmentally appropriate practices, Creative and Integrated curriculum, that is inspired by the Reggio method. This means we use creative hangs-on, age-appropriate approaches to learning the ABC's, phonics, writing, math, science, art, cooking, and following patterns in our exploration of a theme, this could be about plants, insects, the ocean, animals, nutrition, and more. There is a lot of active learning and social interaction with small and large group activities. It's a fun way to practice our academics while learning abou the world. We follow the guidelines of the National Accreditation of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC believes that through a nurturing high quality early childhood education (ECE)program, each child will be given the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically and creatively. We also believe in the importance of cooperative play and having time to play and learn with their friends with the guidance and support of teachers.
