Carter’s Day Care is a family owned and operated learning center established in 1969 by Doris Carter. Mrs. Carter saw the need for families in Mansfield needing a safe place for their children to learn, play and be loved while their parents where working. She grew Carter’s from 2 classes of kindergartens to the Day Care that stands now teaching 18 months olds to 12 years of age. For 4 decades Carter’s Day Care has been a fixture here in the Mansfield community.
