Abundance of Faith Childcare Center, McKinney

My name is Sheila Simmons and I am a Licensed Experienced Child Care Provider located in McKinney, Texas. My home is a Christian based environment. I have over 20 years of experience providing child care for working professionals in my home. I have raised 3 wonderful and beautiful nieces who are now ages 22, 18 and 2 years old. During this time it has become my pleasure to share in the growth of numerous children while providing a safe, wholesome and nurturing environment for them to love, learn and explore. My hobbies are reading, cooking, playing softball, basketball, volleyball cycling, enjoying my family and friends at cookouts and outings. Going to movies, church, working on my website and do research regarding child care issues. As an early childhood educator and family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for each child that will stimulate the physical, intellectual, multicultural, social, and emotional growth at their own pace. I offer loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual and in doing so, building self-esteem and respect for others. A Beka Academyis an accredited, comprehensive distance-learning program for kindergarten through grade 12. This academically challenging, college-preparatory education features high-quality video instruction and uses Christian character-building textbooks. All staff members are people who I know personally. My staffs are CPR and first aid certified. The staff also have childcare educational hours which are required to have each year. My child care center is a home away from home.
