About

Overview

Our experts designed our classrooms - and every activity and lesson - to help prepare your child for success in school and beyond. With designated learning centers such as dramatic play and blocks in every classroom, children have the opportunity for rich social play and child-initiated discovery.

You’ll also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels, and children’s literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print, we’re helping develop early literacy and writing skills.

Whether your child has first words or first grade on the horizon, we’re excited to show you how everything in our center is designed for learning!

Michelle Gibbs, Center Director

Teachers & Staff

Moodus KinderCare teachers are committed to providing our children with a high quality early learning environment. Our team participates in continuing education through company professional development trainings and monthly staff meetings. Come experience the love of learning with us!

Health & Safety

We are proud that all our teachers are First Aid trained and CPR certified. They are also trained in DCF/mandated reporting, Epipen administration, and medication administration.

For the safety of all of our children and families, we have a fenced in playground, and our front door is keypad entry only.

This center has NAEYC accreditation. National Association for the Education of Young Children is the world's largest organization working on behalf of young children. NAEYC established a national, voluntary accreditation system to set professional standards for early childhood education programs and to help families identify high-quality programs. The NAEYC Accreditation Criteria address all aspects of an early childhood program, including interactions among teachers and children, curriculum, interactions among teachers and families, administration, staff qualifications and professional development, staffing patterns, physical environment, health and safety, nutrition and food service, and program evaluation.
